Analisis Kecerdasan Spasial Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal-Soal Geometri Berdasarkan Tingkat Berpikir Van Hiele

The purpose of this research is to describe, identify and analyze students' spatial intelligence in working on geometry problems according Van Hiele's theory. method used descriptive with a qualitative approach. This was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tarakan. instrument the Hiele geometric thinking level test ability test, interview guides documentation. Prior use, an guide, first validated. data analysis technique will be 4 stages, namely collecting, reducing, presenting, concluding all obtained. results study are that students high (KST) informal deductive (level 3) where able know relationship between shapes. While moderate (SCC) analytical 2), mention properties flat Students low (KSR) visualization 1). In conclusion, it important for teachers abilities learning by paying attention thinking, being use Geometry model, increasing van levels can done through training involving media or software (geogebra).
